Desperately needed: New couples!
Friday, July 30th, 2010
Yes, when you are married you kind of begin to grow old! Lately Flo and I only seem to meet up with couples instead of just “friends”. No, I am not saying that this is a bad thing! But it is something that I always linked to being married, old and prude. Anyways I kind of love meeting up with our couple friends and lately we seem to find more and more of them! And that actually is what makes me really really sad and scared!
More than ever before, our circle of friends seems to be growing in crazy speed and I feel so comfortable around the new and the old people in that circle! But considering that we want to move out of this country at the beginning of the next year, it hurts a lot! I don’t want to lose all those people, I don’t want to miss our couple dates and what I am scared of the most: Will we find new couples to meet with in the US?
I kind of feel like I have to go back into dating mood. Only that I will not be dating boys, but couples! But where do you find yourself couples? At work? In clubs? At parties? On the beach? Someone should write a dating guide for people who need to find new couples to be friend with! I somehow hope that Flo’s communication skills might get us some new friends very fast! But in the meantime I guess we have to do our couple meetings via Skype!
Basically everybody can apply. Use our eligibility check to find out if you qualify for the US GreenCard Lottery.
This is part two of my wish list for things I wanna get done when I live in the US. You can catch up with part one in the previous entry below or continue right here. I also wanna say thanks to everyone who posted their suggestions for things I should do when I live in the US! The one I liked most naturally was the cake shop Tanja suggested. Those cakes look delicious! But for now I have to keep my figure to fit my wedding dress in a few weeks, so let’s continue with the list…
Even if I not actually moved to the US yet, I already do have a list of things I wanna do in my first year abroad. I decided to share them with you, so perhaps you can point out things that are useless doing and tell me things I rather should put on my list. So let’s start with the first five things:
